I just cut my baby’s hair!
Her long lovely golden flowing hair!
She’s been begging.
I did it.
It doesn’t look bad, and it will be easier to brush in the mornings…
BUT I CUT HER HAIR!
It was almost to her waist. I cut about 4 inches off and now its about 2 inches below her shoulders.
A part of me just DIED 
I cut it chin length about 2 years ago because she wouldn’t let me brush it, and it grew in a spectacular fashion, I must say.
About 95% of her classmates (female) had chin length hair (or shorter) and she said she wanted to be like them but I COULDN’T do it. I just couldn’t. It was too long and too pretty.
She wants her ears pierced too.

I bet she looks lovely with shorter hair. Just think..it will grow fast and healthier now plus you made her happy:)

Oooh. The haircutting thing. Brings back memories. I wouldn’t let Finchstalker get her ears pierced until she was twelve because that’s the arbitrary number my mother set for me. Arbitrary being the key word here.

I’m sure she’s adorable no matter what length her hair is. Charlie wants hers “long like a princess” at the moment, so she freaked out when I tried to cut it last night. *rolling eyes* I was just trying to even it up a bit and trim her bangs…she eventually let me but oy vey.
