I LOVE this holiday! It’s been such a busy week but I’m super excited to go to the party at Brian’s Parents house tonight. We went over last night to help decorate- the high point of the evening being me- up on the ledge of the living room trying to hang a black sheet over the wall and not fall 20 feet. Good times were had by all.
Emma is going as Mariposa (a Barbie fairy), I’m going as Elphaba from Wicked, with Brian going as Fiyero (in scarecrow form). We are going as the Musical couple as the couple from the book is actually rather tragic. I’m not feeling tragic. I actually wore my costume to work, sans makeup. Its really hard getting green/staying green. And I just painted my fingernails green.
Also? Have eaten nothing but kit kat bars all day. The Wii is going to taunt me. And I will hang my head in shame as it tells me how fat my ass is.
I’ll post pictures tomorrow! Um. Not of the fat ass. Of our costumes. Ya.

Yay costumes!
Mine’s just a pirate costume I’ve had for years now (wasn’t able to find The Perfect Costume in time), kind of spoiled by the fact that I have to wear a bunch of sweaters under it for work.
Looking forward to seeing the pics!
