I picked up the registration packet this morning. Emma now has a bunch of refrigerator magnets and a tee shirt.
Unfortunately, the swag bag didn’t come with any bling or booze for me-and I needed booze; I about had a panic attack walking in because HOLY HELL my baby is going to kindergarten.

I do not understand the people who think that just because they don’t file the tax forms I gave them to file with the IRS, that the IRS isn’t going to notice. Because they do.

I have a little shrine, I guess you could call it, in my office. I can look over and see the pictures of the ones I love and my day is a little brighter

Grace in Small Things Sat- Monday

Saturday: We were camping at Miracle Hot Springs- I soaked for hours in hot water and it was good for my soul.
- My new Thule roof rack bag which let us pack things MUCH easier.
- Electric Blankets and extension cords.
- Hot coffee
- Emma’s grumpiness at the robin and his mate building a nest in the tree above us who woke us up singing.
- Having a sense of humor when there WAS NO ROAD SIGN on the road we needed to turn on which let to a 20 mile detour at 9:30 at night.
Sunday
- Watching Emma paddle around the pools- first with a tube and water wings, but later with only waterwings. CUTEST thing ever.
- Sitting around a campfire drinking a margarita on the rocks
- The trip home through beautiful rolling hills.
- The new roof bag only decreasing my MPG by 2, and that going 75 mph. I’m happy!
- Battery chargers!
Monday!
- Feeling refreshed and better able to concentrate
- Soft beds
- Cooking dinner on a full sized stove
- Grandparents
- Friends
