Dear John Mayor

Not only does your music suck, turns out you kinda suck as a human too.

So glad I never bought any of your music.

Lunch and learn

SO I got this email today and was so impressed I had to share it with you!

" What we are proposing is that we have a ‘lunch and learn’ event at your office in the coming weeks. We want to talk to you team about some of the changes to the Roth Ira conversion of 2010 and some of the befits. We know your time is especially valuable this time of the year that is why we want to bring your team lunch in your office, so very little time is taken up. Of course, our time is valuable too, if we did not think what we had to talk to you about was worth it we would not be willing to waste it either. We feel like both of our companies would greatly benefit from this meeting. "

I’m not sure I’d let this person NEAR my IRA. I’m just sayin.

A few ways Buster Boo Barnaby Bigglesworth fills me with happiness!

  • Buster absolutely knows what a milk-bone is.  You can say milk-bone when he’s snoring and he jumps straight in the air.  I find this hilarious.
  • He knows that when Brian says “You wanna pick up Emma?” that A: he’s going for a car ride and B: his girl is coming home.
  • Brian picks up Emma a few minutes before I get home and when I turn into our driveway Buster is usually in the window on the back of the couch waiting for me.  He KNOWS how it works.
  • When Buster gets a squeaky toy and makes it squeak, the look of surprise, delight and joy he gets on his face is awesome. Every time.  He looks SO PROUD of himself!
  • He’s learning lots of words, but when he has no idea what I’m saying he cocks his head to one side and tries SO HARD to understand. And OMG the cuteness of the look, the concentration and devotion to the words coming out of my mouth!  It could cause me to die!
  • I don’t know about the people who had him before… I mean they did the basics of “don’t pee in the house and sit” and I’m grateful for that, but… I’m not sure they PLAYED with him. He’s now very good at catch and tug of war and chase mom around the house while she giggles. He’s getting better at playing with Brian- but he’s got some serious “I’m afraid of men” issues.  He adores Brian and is getting better, but for a while he wouldn’t play tug of war with Brian even when he would with me.
  • The faint snoring!

Guilt

My friend got me a little slice of cake filled with Marzipan with a cherry on top dipped in chocolate that had little ears so it looked like a mouse on a wedge of cheese and I was going to feed it to Emma but it sat on my desk looking delicious and I think I just ate it.

I may have a little bit of guilt but I also have a nasty cold and I needed something to help me feel better and the cold medicine just isn’t doing the job and what I never tell Emma doesn’t hurt her, right? I mean, I only PLANNED on giving it to her, I never TOLD her about it.

Ya. Guilt.
